As part of my daily ritual, I headed over to Smosch’s blog and admired her animal portraits. At the end of her post, she writes, “I’d better start taking pictures of the people I meet too, not only the animals”. This comment really got me thinking. I’ve always wanted to photograph strangers I meet but I’ve always been too shy or too lazy or too I don’t know…

So, I’m headed off to Los Angeles for three weeks and I’ve decided to give myself an assisgnment.

100 Strangers

Okay, so I probably won’t get all 100 but I’ll at least get a good start.

p.s. Since I don’t usually post many photos of myself here, I thought that I would share this photobooth shot of me circa 2006 (Bern, Switzerland). I’m the stranger today.

News, I couldn’t wait any longer to tell you…

Me and this little blog will be moving *back* to Zürich, Switzerland on July 28th!

But before that, I’m off to Los Angeles for three whole weeks to spend time with my family and to welcome in a new member. I’ll be back on the first of June.
