holiday by the lake October 31
A few more photos from the weekend away that we took a few weeks back. The days started off foggy and luckily ended golden.

Remember when I blamed looking into other peoples’ windows on my camera?
Well it looks like I’m going to have to blame this series of roses on my camera too.
I’m not really the kind of lady who likes roses…
But my Retinette IB sure does!
Out of focus, blurry, double or triple exposed. You name it. They’re mis-takes.
But charming nonetheless.
Musical accompaniment: a take-away show by Cocoon
I’ve got a new oldie to add to my collection. I got this little prince from Brockiland for 40 Swiss Francs.
It’s a Kodak Retinette IB. They were in production from 1963 to 1966. It’s a keeper, this one! I just got a roll back from development and it works great!
Sportler trinken…Turbinenbräu
(for non-German speakers the translation of the text on the coaster is: sportsmen drink the local Zürich beer which is called Turbinenbräu ;-)
*****Thanks for visiting. Asphalt and Air is taking a blog break. There’s been a new arrival here and time with my camera has become scarce.*****

A day like any other day, Zürich Hauptbahnhof

We’re ready for you to come out and play!
Could you make it sooner rather than later?…..

The vines and trees and bushes that were once wearing leaves are looking a bit bare.
Even the mannequins have decided that it’s now time to wear scarves…

During my wanderings in Cully, Simplon and Locarno I found my eye resting on some of the smaller finer details around me.
It was nice to have so much time to just look around.

I was tagged by the wildly wonderful photographer who always captures color, color and more color, epa epe ,to tell you 10 true things about myself. So here you go! 10 very true things. Not really exciting but true.
If anyone else wants to play along, consider yourself tagged.
