Reduction of blah, blah, blah in both its forms: output and input.

The music to help me would be Einstürzende Neubauten because they nearly always leave me speechless.

You might find this illustration familiar. She is the second part to a pair. Find her counterpart here.

Merry, merry, merry to you!

big hair fascination

big hairAnother sketchbook find. This is a woman with very big hair. Whenever I come across someone with bit hair.

First, my jaw drops. Then I stare….

…in pure wonderment of the creation.

It’s true.

I lived in Texas. Maybe this has something to do with my big hair fascination.

spaghetti mama

little spaghetti mamaWhile going through my old sketchbooks, I found this little spaghetti mama. Thought I would share her with you.

I think that I sketched her while dreaming of making a silly cookbook one day.

Who knows, it could happen?!…Anybody out there who wants to collaborate?…

Translates to something like, “I have a soft hum in my ear.”

I suspect that I might have something like that when I get these urges to photograph power lines…

Self-portrait photography to delight and amaze you – Levi Van Veluw

i’ve been held up lately

held upheld up detail

Sometimes one must wonder if the pole is holding the wires or the wires holding the pole?

I was so excited to discover this detail in the photograph – a little wire wiggling free.

I could spend all day looking at photos by Riitta Päiväläinen.

But then again, I would also want to leave some to look at the photos by Elina Brotherus.
The work of both photographers can be found here.
