May I suggest, if you are going to keep your house a mess: at least make it a colorful one!

Replies:

April: Wishing you a wonderful day around the corner, too! And maybe something home-made from Tiptopf?

Aimee: Colorful messes are the best, aren’t they. I wish all messes could be colorful….

Anairam: I like giving silly advice : )

Cissi: Yes, yes! The messy life is a nice one. As long as it doesn’t get out of control.

Lea: Thanks so much for the link! Now I can start dreaming…

If I were a flower, I just might be a wisteria blossom.

Chelsea: In the next life, I’ll look for you on the wisteria branches.

Been listening to Woodpigeon and been wishing to immerse myself in blues and greens.

(insert a little secret here: The wildly talented Lizzy Stewart has done cover art for Woodpigeon EPs)

Wishing you all a good end to the month of May.

Rynke: Thanks! I loved those piles of books when I saw them.

Will you dance with me and whisper tales of the summer to come into my ear?

Replies:

Chelsea: I think that the quite place was my mood when I put them together as a trio. The top and bottom photos were taken alongside busy city streets!

Alexandra: Your comment is the sweetest! Yes, I am taking more time with them. I even wind the camera slowly between shots : )

Aimee: There are a lot of people in my office building who would like to personally strangle all of those pollen makers!

Esti: Flu wasn’t a flu at all – but a sinus infection! Not quite over it. But pleased to hear that you are living life again!

Jeanette: du bist aber lieb! danke!

Before running off to London, I finished another roll on my Voigtländer Vitomatic II.

Even though my trusty friend has returned from the shop, I don’t think that I’m going to give up analogue anytime soon.

Ouch! That’s going to hurt the budget!

But I enjoy its slow pleasures oh so very much….

Another slow pleasure to love is waiting for a treasure from this talented lady:

Abigail A. Percy

Replies:

Vanessa: I fall in love with those reflections every time I see them. They happen quite regularly in a particular spot here in Zurich.

Rynke: Thanks so much!

Sandra and Nathalie: So nice of you to stop by the blog. It’s always fun to get new visitors. I’m going to stop over at your blogs to see what you’re up to!

London you were lovely. I liked your bustling brightness, your loudness, your fast marching pace and your underground corridors.

I’ll see you again soon – next time with a full pocketbook.

***A little note about my trusty sidekick: He arrived back just in time to go on the trip with me. What good luck!

Replies:

Melissa W. : Crazy?! We were in London at the same time. We could have had a tea together!

P.K. : Thanks, I am very pleased to have my sidekick back.

epe: Sweet of you to comment. Thanks.

Thereza: You’re a star! I’d love to meet up with you sometime. I’ll let you know when I’ll be in London town next!

Just returned from the ATP Festival in Minehead, England. It was certainly a place where my ears had a lot of fun.

Some of the delights included:

Foals

Dianogah

Bon Iver

Before and after the festival, I got a chance to make my feet nice and tired in London. More photos to follow…

Replies:

Chelsea:  You are right. Bon Iver is fabulous. He has stories to tell, that’s for sure. He’s powerful on stage.

Lea: Thanks for looking forward!

Esti: Lykke Li makes great music. It always puts me in a good mood.

Thereza: I like *sighs*!
