a few film outtakes December 30

Due to the dismal grey weather today, I’ve reached into my archives for a few shots on film that haven’t appeared here yet.

Took my camera out for a walk today. It’s been far too long since I last walked aimlessly with my camera in hand.
It felt good to be outdoors and it felt good to snap a few pics.
Hopefully you are all able to enjoy some lazy days until the year end.
Beautiful photos here at Grass Doe. Go have a look.

Today, I’m feeling very grateful to all of you who stop by here.
Thank you for visiting, for leaving such sweet comments and for inspiring me!

For those of you in or near Zürich, I’ll be setting up a stand at the Nacht Markt on Sunday, December 20th.
At the stand, I’ll have some of my illustrations and screenprints for sale. I’ll also be joined by a very good friend who will be selling her wonderful handmade soap.
If you’re around, do stop by and say hello!

I’m starting to feel more like celebrating, how about you?
These are just a few more photos from the mountain villages that had me absolutely charmed while I was lucky enough to be there.

How could I tell you about the enchanted Chasa Chalavaina without showing you the menagerie of textiles that adorn the rooms?

My little winterish getaway brought me to the valley of Müstair, where I stayed in a magical place called Chasa Chalavaina.
It was wonderful to spend so much time outdoors. I have come back home to the city, feeling refreshed and delighted that my legs are so tired.
The lights will be out here until Sunday when I return. Have no fear, I’ll be safe and sound just very, very, very far from an Internet connection.

It’s a grey, cold Sunday today. So I’m posting a few more from the last roll of film that got developed.
I was out hunting for bits of color and was surprised where I found it.

It seems I’ve always had a little weakness for rustiness…
