cross pollination: keep you in my locket June 9
My series continues with this little lady and her heart locket. It’s true what Alexandra wrote a while back. When someone knows that they are leaving a place, they start to become nostalgic before they have even left. Maybe the nostalgia caused me to paint the heart locket?

It’s fun – we will both, you and me, be moving kind of at the same time… Could be interesting to see and compare how we are doing. I’m aiming for MINIMAL!
Zürich is nice. I was there once for some weeks when I was 20. I hitch hiked across Europe with an Amercian streetmusician. We stayed at a squat in Zurich. I was impressed by how organised the Swiss people were even when running a squat!

alexandra, i am very much looking forward to reading about your adventures in your new home.
aiming for MINIMAL is always a good idea, but i must admit that it is hard to achieve. when i first moved to zurich in 2001, i only brought two suitcases with me. thank goodness i can move more this time!
you are right about the Swiss. they have an obsession with being tidy…it makes me a little bit nervous to be honest.
your time at the squat must have been exciting. would love to hear more sometime…
